The mission of PowerPack 380 is to provide the basic necessity of food to children in need along the 380 Corridor through delivery of weekend food packs.
In 2011, PowerPack 380 was launched to meet the growing need of weekend meals for children on the free and reduced lunch program in our local schools. Statistics show that on average, 82% of these children are without food on the weekends. These children rely on their local schools to provide breakfast and lunch for them five days a week. The goal of PowerPack 380 is to fill the gap on weekends and holidays.
The PowerPack 380 team of volunteers work directly with local school personnel to confidentially identify students in need of the program. The packs are delivered to the school counselors who discreetly distribute them to the students. The PowerPack 380 program is NEVER given the personal information of recipients.

COC Metro partners with Cornerstone of North Texas to help meet the spiritual and physical needs of those in our communities.
Based in Collin County, Cornerstone Assistance Network of North Central Texas is a faith-based 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization. Cornerstone’s mission is to unite with others to demonstrate Christ’s compassion by serving our neighbors in need. This is accomplished by sharing the Gospel and helping family units escape the cycle of poverty for good by providing resources, tools, and education.

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” – Acts 1:8
COC Metro believes that to fulfill the entirety of God’s plan for the local church that we must not just be involved in evangelism & the making of disciples in our own community & country. We must take The Gospel and it’s life giving power to the ends of the earth. To do this, we not only pray for those to be called out of our own church community but we give a weekly faith based offering (Project 1:8) to help send those who have been called to go.
Currently COC Metro supports 13 global missionaries in 9 different countries. COC Metro is financially and prayerfully involved in mission work in the Philippines, England, Africa, East Asia, Wales, Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Eastern Europe & the Netherlands.

In November of 2015 and in partnership with church planters, Jonathan & Jeanine Autrey, COC Metro, helped to launch an International Church Plant. Since then we have seen the ministry in Veron, Dominican Republic grow and continue to reach men, women, boys and girls with the message of Jesus Christ. COC Metro partners as well with IBC by taking three teams each year to the D.R. to help with street evangelism, Bible clubs for kids, youth outreach and disciple making.
COC Metro believes that no church exists only for itself. From the very beginning it has never been just about us. We believe and will always live out the principal of church multiplication.
When COC Metro was launched we set out to start a movement of church planting in the great state of Texas. Out of that passion and heart came Vision Texas.
Vision Texas is a movement of Converge Worldwide churches that champion church planting. We are churches that plant reproducing churches and focus on helping each other and other churches with church multiplication.
All potential planters will be assessed, approved, funded and coached through agreed upon Vision Texas Operating Guidelines, with a team vote to move forward.
Vision Texas has church plants in Prosper, Rhome, Northwest, McKinney, Schertz, Denton, Spring, Alvin, Odessa & Cypress with Frisco and Austin in the near future.
If you’re passionate about planting a church in Texas and want to join in where God is already working, we’d love to talk with you.
